Foleys have given the group great support. Not only do they give all of The Pickup Artists 20% off their food. They also paid for all of the equipment for a local school to have a Junior Pickup Artists group. Foley’s also give us money off vouchers when they are required for big events.
Tesco have teamed up with The Pickup Artists on many occasions to collect litter from Kidderminster and Stourport. The Land Oak in Kidderminster offer all Pickup Artists 20% off food and are always happy to donate a voucher for a big event. At Christmas they gave us 2 free 2 course Christmas meals which was a wonderful treat.
The Canal and River Trust were happy to talk to our volunteers about an adoption project hey were running. The Watermill in Kidderminster have also been kind enough to give all Pickup Artists 20% off their food bill when they have a meal. They were also our venue for our summer get together.
Merchants in Bewdley have been very supportive, not only do they offer 20% off food purchased by Pickup Artists but they have sponsored Bewdley Primary School so they could have their own Junior Pickup Artists group.
Mimi’s Bistro in Stourport gave our group 20% off loyalty cards after a Stourport litter pick. The hope and Anchor was our venue for our Christmas meal and we were all given free coffee after a delicious meal.
The Big Local DY10 have given us the money to buy enough equipment for all the schools in that post code. All the children received litter pickers, bags, t-shirts, hoops and have been asked to keep us updated of their progress.
Steven Walker had some very stylish high visibility vests made by Will at Empire Embroidery. These were quickly snapped up by the group and now Will works hard to keep up for demand with all of our personalised clothing.
